Launch Sites

Our launch sites are located within easy access of I-84 in Southington, Plainville, Farmington, and New Hartford, CT . Drive time from NYC, Long Island or the Boston area is appx 1 ½ - 2 hours. We are easily accessible from Bradley International Airport or if you are flying yourself here our local airport is Robertson Field (4B8). Our launch sites for any flight are dependent of wind speed and direction to offer you the most scenic flight path as possible. Our goal is to make your flight one of those pleasant experiences that you will never forget.
Site 1: The Aqua Turf  Club

GPS users: Enter 556 Mulberry Street, Plantsville, CT 06479
                                       or
 From I-84 heading West, take Exit 29 (left exit)
  • Go straight ahead at the end of the ramp onto Mulberry Street.
  • Go through two Stop Signs, 1/2 mile past the 2nd Stop sign , entrance is on the right.
  • Park autos in parking lot in the extreme left and all the way to the rear 

Site 2: Panthorn Park

GPS users-  Enter the intersections of Burritt Street and Echo Valley Drive,   Plantsville, CT  06479

From I-84 heading East, take Exit 28:
  • Go straight through intersection onto Ruggles Row.
  • Make 1st left onto Burritt Street.
  • Park entrance is 1/4 mile on the right at the intersection of Echo Valley Drive
  • Meeting area is the parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts
From I-84 heading West, take Exit 28:
  • Turn right at the bottom of the ramp
  • Make left at first light onto Ruggles Row
  • Make left at first stop sign onto Burritt Street.
  • Park entrance is 1/4 mile on the right at the intersection of Echo Valley Drive
  • Meeting area is the parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts
From I-691 heading West, take Exit 3 (Rte 10):

  • Turn right at end of ramp onto Rte 10 heading north
  • At first light, bear Left and stay on Rte 10.
  • At second light, turn left onto Clark Street.
  • Make first right turn onto Burritt Street.
  • Follow Burritt St. approximately one mile, Panthorn Park is on right side at the intersection of Echo Valley Drive.
  • Meeting area is the parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts
Site 3: Western Little League

GPS users: Enter 662 Spring Street, Southington,CT 06489-  This address is a private residence opposite the entrance to the park.  The residents of this address have no connection to us so please don't ring their bell looking for us !


From I-84 heading East, take Exit 31:

  • Turn left at the end of the ramp
  • At the 6th traffic light, turn right onto Spring Street
  • Look for gated entrance approximately 200 yards on the left, just after the soccer field
  • Once inside the park, park vehicles in the lot all the way down on the right hand side 
  • Launch field is on the left hand side
  • If gate is locked, wait in the driveway with your engine off. We will be there soon!
From I-84 heading West, take Exit 31 (Rte 229 / West Street):
  • Turn right at the end of the ramp
  • At the 4th traffic light, turn right onto Spring Street
  • Look for gated entrance approximately 200 yards on the left, just after the soccer field
  • Once in the driveway, park in the lot at the end on the right hand side
  • Launch field is on the left hand side
  • If gate is locked, wait in the driveway with your engine off. We will be there soon!
Site 4: Cheshire Commuter Parking Lot
Located at the Junction of Rte. 10 and I-691 in Cheshire

From I-84 East or West:

  • Take Exit 27 onto 691 East
  • Take your first Exit (Exit #3)
  • Turn left at the end of the ramp
  • Go through your first light
  • Commuter lot is on your right
From I-691 Westbound:
  • Take Exit #3
  • Turn right the end of the ramp
  • Commuter lot is on your right
Site 5: Commuter Parking Lot-  Canton, CT
Meeting place is the  Commuter parking lot at the intersections of Rte 44 and Rte 179 in Canton, CT.

Site 6:  Chatterley's Restaurant,  2 Bridge Street, New Hartford, CT  06057
Meeting place is the parking lot of Chatterly's Restaurant at the intersection of Rte. 44 and Rte 219.
